City of Two Harbors Burlington Bay Campground is situated right on the north shore of beautiful Lake Superior. It is a wonderful place to enjoy a day or two (or more) of fishing. 2. Boyd Lake State Park, Colorado

Boyd Lake State Park has more than 1,700 acres of water for the best in fishing and boating. The quality fishing will have you returning again and again. To catch some sizable walleye or trout, it is said that trolling a harness at about 15 to 25 feet will have them biting.

3. Fishing at Kettletown State Park, Connecticut

Anglers love coming to Kettletown State Park to experience some great fishing. A day of fishing here will get you outdoors to enjoy the sunny days of summer. Lake Zoar is the fifth largest body of freshwater in Connecticut and itโ€™s perfect for water sports and particularly fishing. 4. Wells Lake State Park, Massachusetts

Common Catches: Largemouth bass, chain pickerel, yellow perch, white perch, bluegill, pumpkin-seed, brown bullhead, white suckers, and golden and bridled shiners

The main attraction is the calm and scenic Walker Pond. Reserve one of the 60 campsites perched on a hillside with access to the water. 5. Meade State Park, Kansas
