Kansas offers many state parks and wildlife areas that provide the unique outdoor experiences you seek, as well as the comforts of staying in nearby cabins to relax after your adventure.

Perry State Park
This year-round park is located on the southwestern shores of Perry Reservoir in eastern Kansas. Extensive forested rolling hills offer shaded camping and diverse landscape for wildlife such as white-tailed deer and turkeys. There are 40 miles of trails throughout the park that also pass through the Corp of Engineer Land for hunters, so make sure to where brightly colored clothing. Perry offers four modern cabins accommodating up to four people and allows pets. It is located approximately 1/4-mile to the boat ramp for fishing and under one mile to the trails.
Lovewell State Park
Lovewell is located in northcentral Kansas and is a haven for outdoor lovers. The park is popular with people who enjoy camping, water sports, fishing, and hunting at the 2,200-acre Lovewell Wildlife Area. Wildlife enthusiasts experience a variety of well-managed habitats around the reservoir. Species managed in the area include deer, turkey, waterfowl, and upland game. There are five campgrounds around the park including four deluxe cabins, and five rustic cabins. Cabins accommodate four to 10 people, and four rentals allow pets. All are approximately ยผ-mile to the water for easy access and a great basecamp for your adventure.
Milford State Park
Milford State Park is located on the southeast shore of the state’s largest lake, Milford Reservoir. Recreational activities are endless at this park with multiuse trails and watersports including fishing. The wildlife area is located on the west side and upper end of the reservoir. Hunters will find a variety of game including quail, pheasant, prairie chicken, duck, goose, rabbit, turkey, deer, and squirrel. Trappers are also active throughout the season in pursuit of raccoon, muskrat, beaver and other furbearers. There are eight campgrounds and 10 cabins sleeping between four to six people. Two cabins allow pets.

Wilson State Park
Wilson State Park is located in central Kansas and preserves the south side of the rugged Wilson Reservoir shorelines, scenic cliffs, and rocky outcrops for outdoor recreationalists to enjoy. The Wilson Wildlife Area is located in the upper end of the reservoir with designated hunting areas. The park has eight modern cabins to choose from that accommodate four to five people to relax after your day out exploring.
Cedar Bluff State Park
Cedar Bluff State Park is located in central Kansas and divided into two unique areas along the shorelines of Cedar Bluff Reservoir. The Bluffton area on the north shore and more private Page Creek area on the south shore. Both allow hunting where you may find deer, turkey, and pheasant. Boating, fishing, and camping are popular activities around the lake. Stay at one of the three modern cabins and three primitive cabins that sleep between four to six people and allow pets.
