Walk to the beach, bars, restaurants, grocery store and even the outlet mall…but don’t buy too much, you’ll need to walk back! Excellent security at night – so good that you won’t want to arrive late because the gate will be closed!

A small community in the Florida panhandle with less than 30,000 full-time residents. Baker Florida is only 36 miles from Santa Rosa Beach. North Karick Lake Recreation Area – N Karick Lake Road Managed and protected by the Forest Service in Florida, North Karick Lake Recreation Area offers tent and RV camping with spacious treed lots. The campgrounds has its own boat launch and fishing. Sites include picnic tables, electric and water. There are complimentary showers and restrooms, as well. Eglin Air Force Base

This U.S. Air Force base is responsible for development, acquisition, testing, deployment and sustainment of all air-delivered non-nuclear weapons. Eglin AFB is located in the western Florida panhandle near Crestview, DeFuniak Springs, Freeport, Niceville, and Valparaiso. Pensacola is the major city closest to the base. It is about an hour away by motor vehicle.

Lots of long pull throughs. Nice pool and clubhouse. There are parties, activities, breakfasts and a weekly ice cream social.
