Morrow Mountain State Park, North Carolina

Play horseshoes or volleyball – whatever you desire. The cabins have a living area which includes a table, chairs, benches, a double bed, and bunk beds. Betty and Wilbur Davis State Park, New York
Cabins in this state park are a treat, with picnic tables, grills, and fire rings. You’ll find a shower, a microwave, and a television. You will have many of the comforts of home, but still get outdoors and experience nature at its best. Outdoor activities should include hiking through the hardwood forest, birdwatching, or trying your hand at catch-and-release fishing. With this park situated on top of a hill, you’ll enjoy spectacular views.
Burlingame State Park, Rhode Island
There are 20 rustic cabins from which to choose in this state park. Each has two bunk beds. You can easily bring your own air mattress which is a simple way to add more sleeping. The campground is next to Watchaug Pond, with a boat ramp and swimming beach. The park offers many activities, including exploring the rocky woodland around the pond, and hiking through the 3,100 acres to get back to nature. Bicycle riding, bird watching and swimming are also popular here.
Douthat State Park, Virginia
One of the parks of choice in Virginia is Douthat State Park in the Allegheny Mountains. A feature that is popular is the 50-acre lake where you can fish for the stocked trout, find a sandy beach with a snack bar, or rent a boat to get out in the sun. Besides water fun, you have more than 4,500 acres to enjoy. There is fabulous scenery and 43 miles of hiking trails. If you prefer fishing in a stream, there are four miles of stream fishing for campers here. The cabins are comfortable and will provide you with sheltered camping so you can go about your daily activities with no worries.
